"This is something I'm going to walk around with for the rest of my life, knowing someone took my son's life - for nothing," said Gary Johnson. His son Garion was 19-years-old when he was shot and killed in front of his home in Omaha, Nebraska. Garion is the second son that Johnson has lost to gun violence.

The violence has left 3-year-old Jay’Ceon Foster without a mother or a father. It has left 20-year-old Tyrus Harris paralyzed from the waist down. And for every person killed, a family is left to mourn the absence of their loved ones who were taken far too soon.
